  • Overview

    Filtration Group, a leading HVAC filtration manufacturer, is seeking a Machine Operator to operate one or more pieces of machinery in a given department. You will be responsible for performing operations efficiently, effectively and safely, with minimal supervision, and monitor production to assure quality standards are met.

    Responsibilities

    • Production Start-up (approximately 5 minutes)
    • Production Operation
    • Production Shut-down (approximately 15 minutes)
    • Quality
      • Test product at regular intervals
      • Record data in database
      • Ensure quality exceeds product specs
      • Take corrective actions immediately
    • Troubleshooting
      • Clear and restart machine safely
      • Record downtime
      • Determine root cause of issues
      • Work with maintenance team to understand and improve process
    • Uptime/Rate/Yield
      • Meet or exceed targets
      • Print reports and review daily
      • React to performance data
      • Suggest improvements
    • Warehouse
      • Maintain raw material inventory
      • Count and report inventory as required
      • Maintain finished goods inventory
      • Load/Unload trucks as required
    • Cross train with other operators as required.
    • Notify other operators if you leave the work area.
    • Perform all duties safely and with quality standards in mind.
    • Perform all other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 2 years of machine operator experience preferred.
    • 2 years of production work in a manufacturing environment required.
    • Able to speak, read and write in English highly desired.
    • High school diploma or equivalent level of education required.
    • Able to work overtime as needed.
    • Able to stand to perform tasks for prolonged periods of time.
    • Mechanical aptitude sufficient to troubleshoot equipment as needed.
    • Able to satisfy the physical, visual and auditory requirements below.
