    Small team of highly specialized members dedicated working together and independently with time management skills a must key trait.   The position requires sales savvy, solution sales skills, and building strong relationships with customers and understanding of their needs and ability to manage bits of administrative side together.  Strong closing abilities are needed with this Sales position in the natural gas turbine filtration markets primarily to cover gulf coast, southern regions and coastal areas within North America and Mexico. 

    Power generation filtration for specialty needs of refineries, large process units, power grids for local and regional providers will be our primary target customers. As a team we cover the needs of existing customers by working with various other Business Units within Filtration Group Companies and ensuring customer receive order place with NAGT proactive measures and service.  We seek out new opportunities in these markets but we serve our existing customers with absolute attention to detail as specialist.

    Position reports directly to Director of Business Unit and further training of business and its products will be provided. 

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Building relationships with existing customer and developing new customer leads.
    • Follows up on inquiries by checking Axapta system for item availability and delivery information. Works closely with internal buyer, shipping team, and Suppliers regarding deliveries of scheduled shipments.
    • Develops leads for NAGT sales team throughout US utilizing “IIR” custom lead generating software.
    • Works with Suppliers on costing for items not currently in Axapta ERP system.
    • Works closely with Design team and buyers on new item set up.
    • Delivers price quotations to customers and prospects by fax/email on standard items.
    • Maintains files of prospects and current customers.
    • Prepares paperwork (credit memos, company information, etc…) to be given to respective departments; Planning, Accounting, Sales, & Customer Service.
    • Works closely with the internal team members and external sales to insure high customer satisfaction.
    • Drive sales NAGT products, by developing, identifying and securing all relevant direct sale opportunities.
    • Manipulate and manage spreadsheets, computer files of customer base and update and provide data entry of customer information in CRM module of SFDC.
    • Provide weekly reports of status of open orders, deliveries, and sales opportunities to leader.
    • Detail oriented, reviewing incoming orders to assure accuracy and completeness. Enter orders in a timely manner. Coordinates details of orders through the production process to ensure completion of order and delivery commitment.
    • Assumes responsibility for providing samples, facilitating lab analysis and answers to customer inquiries regarding new product. Identify research and resolve customer issues, product concerns or complaints and coordinate with appropriate NAGT staff and / or Supplier to provide a solution.
    • Must be able to organize and maintain accurate electronic files within ERP system, via CRM, Quote and Order files and within Microsoft Outlook. Prepares documents and coordinate new client info, purchase order, return goods memo, credit and rebills with production and accounting department and Sales / Product Manager for review or action as appropriate.

     

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    Bachelor Degree preferred; High School diploma required; and/or three years related experience: or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience may be substituted for the formal education and training requirements in this section at the discretion of management.

    COMMUNICATION AND LANGUAGE SKILLS:

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, work instructions, software manuals. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; utilizing appropriate e-mail and telephone etiquette. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak, listen and communicate well with others.

     

    TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

    Ability to travel 50% of the time to visit customers, attend trade shows and user group conferences.
