  • Overview

    Purafil, a Filtration Group, is looking for a dynamic, organized Customer Solutions Applications Engineer (CSAE) to join our Engineering team in Doraville, GA.  As the CSAE you would be tasked with working with our regional sales managers and various reps in providing quotes for our products. You will also be a champion in driving innovative customer solutions in the realm of equipment, media, and instrumentation.  The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering, has a desire to excel in their engineering career.  A key attribute is an ability to excel in providing world class customer service and reflect our core values in a positive manner.  This position will report to the Director of Engineering.


    • Provide product selection, quotation, technical information and proposal/bid documents support to channel partners and customers.
    • Specification review to evaluate opportunity, capability, customer need, and pricing
    • Evaluating on ongoing open bid channels to determine Purafil opportunities
    • Performing, if necessary, engineering calculations and facilitate drawing requests for quoting purposes
    • Handle incoming calls, web and email queries for sales and pre-sales technical questions
    • Deliver exceptional customer service to our internal and external customers.
    • Facilitate career development and company growth through serving in various development assignments across customer solutions, engineering, manufacturing, marketing, lab, and sales
    • Exceed key performance metrics and be a critical enabler in achieving sales budget commitments.



    Skills and Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
    • Experience in Chemical, Wastewater & Water, Filtration industry a plus.
    • Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook.
    • 1 to 5 years’ experience.

    Physical Demands of Position

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.


    Work Environment

    The work environment is typically office setting.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is sometimes exposed to industrial environments that can be hot, have fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment can be moderate but may occasionally be considered high.


    Travel Requirements

    Travel is on a case by case basis and may be up to once a month.
