    We are working with their Environmental Air and Distribution (EAD) Division ($300M) – specifically their HVAC business unit which includes several manufacturing facilities, a strong e-commerce business and a leading manufacturing and distribution presence across North America.

    Position Summary:

    Provide HR leadership for a two site manufacturing organization based in Kenosha, WI.   The position will report to the HR Leader for the HVAC business units with a dotted line the Plant Manager of the two facilities. The role is responsible for managing HR programs and activities in support to the Kenosha facilities and the division as a whole.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Manage all aspects of HR in a non-union facility.
    • Interpret and apply company policies and procedures, benefits, and other HR programs.
    • Responsible for the administration of worker compensation reports, unemployment and disability cases and the record keeping and documentation.
    • Serve as the liaison between management and employees by handling questions and assisting in the resolution of work-related issues.
    • Responsible for selection, recruitment, and interviewing of employees and works jointly with supervisory and department heads in the hiring of employees.
    • Provide effective guidance to line and department staff relating to employee concerns, problems and disciplinary action to comply with company policies.
    • Manages employee welfare activities including benefits at location; assists in resolving employee benefit issues.
    • Maintains all recordkeeping for governmental, regulatory, and company requirements, including OSHA, EEOC
    • Lead confidential projects.
    • Design and deliver training to address employee development.
    • Drive culture and engagement programs
    • Create and implement process improvements to reduce administrative waste
    • Ensure necessary tools in place to drive supervisory self-sufficiency
    • Actively engage in overall business problem solving, uses data and metrics to drive decisions.

     

     

    Skills and Experience-

    • BA/BS in Human Resources or related area required with 5+ years of experience as HR generalist, preferably in a manufacturing or warehousing environment.
    • Knowledge of applicable state, federal, local employment/labor laws and regulations.
    • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels within org.
    • Must have professional demeanor and excellent work ethic
    • Must have attention to detail and excellent mathematical accuracy
    • Proficient in MS Office
    • Human Resources Certification (PHR/SPHR) preferred
    • Speak fluent Spanish
