Overview

Our client is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for their facility in northeast Houston, TX! 

 

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the logistics of receiving, processing, storing, and shipping inventory, including chemicals.

Responsibilities

  • Loading materials and shipping containers
  • Organizing incoming stock
  • Putting labels on outgoing parcels
  • Following up on materials and components orders
  • Controlling stock levels
  • Analyzing demand projections
  • Working with technicians to establish order & inventory priorities
  • Utilizing and monitoring material planning procedures 
  • Recording and maintaining inventory
  • Advising the imports received and items exported
  • Training new workers
  • Ensuring performance is adequate
  • Managing warehouse subcontractors
  • Purchasing & ordering tools & materials
  • Projecting consumables and spare parts
  • Identifying and reporting deviations
  • Maintaining warehouse KPIs

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of previous Warehouse Lead/Supervision experience
  • Previous experience overseeing chemical storage & shipping
  • Strong inventory control & capacity planning experience
  • Experience with processing inventory via QuickBooks
